Ikon B1 open deluxe vs Gillette new LC

Hello! I had a first shave with a Gillette NEW LC this morning for the first time and am impressed with how it shaved, despite the irritation I caused myself due to the light weight of the razor (pressed down a bit). I was looking into some options to make it heavier and remembered that the iKon B1 Open comb deluxe has a very similar design with the NEW LC.
My question is...are the shaves comparable with each other? If this were a very close "heavier" option, my RAD is going to flare up.

The Ikon B1 OC Deluxe more closely mirrors the shave of a Gillette New Deluxe. I find both the Ikon B1 OC Deluxe and the Gillette New Deluxe to be smoother and more efficient than the New LC.

I found the Ikon B1 to be about 90% of my Wolfman OC head. With some of my other razors, I don't use it very much but I do enjoy it when it comes up.

I like them both, the New Deluxe and the New LC. However, the New LC coupled with a heavy handle is one of my favorite razors. I find it smoother than the New Deluxe and Ikon's version as well. Go to Maggard's and buy one of their weightier handles and give it a try. I also found the New LC's normally supplied handle to be a dud.
