If you could only have one soap/splash…

Goodmorning DFS! 

I saw a thread this morning asking what everyone’s “best” soap is and it inspired me to really consider what my favorite, end of the world, if I could only have one soap/splash for the rest of my life would be…. 


And for me it’s easily the Saponificio Varesino “Opuntia” set. Opuntia is just too good. I could wake up, bathe in that scent, shave with it, use the splash, spray the parfum about five times, then figure out a way to put some in a glade plug in…. It’s that damn good.

Mine would also be Saponificio Varesino, but in Dolomit soap and splash.

Only one….only one…….  Well brother I have several favorites but if I could only have one for the rest of my time I think it would have to be Sir Henrys in Sandalwood.  Scent is amazing. The soap and aftershave work to give me a fantastic, skin conditioning shave.

I've seen these threads before. I've probably responded to 3 or 4 of them over the years. If I looked back, I'd bet I'd find that I have given 3-4 different answers, too.

The AS would be easy, as I only use one: Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm.

The soap, now that's hard. I'd probably say Fine Lavender Pour Homme. It's a scent that isn't polarized to a season or event or holiday. It's a lightly scented soap that does linger. Finally, it's fun to say I love this soap and also despise Lavender Scents. Too bad Fine soaps hates this scent... they discontinued it.

Best is pretty relative. The one soap I could use daily is First Canadian Soap Barbershop. I have scents I like more but it’s pleasing and suitable for year round use

SV Colonia soap and aftershave has been getting used a lot the last couple years. I enjoy both the combined scent and performance.

The answers above sound like nice choices too.
