I have been shaving using traditional method/gears since February 2015. Like most people here, I have bought and sold and tried quite a few razors. I think I am at a point now where I do not even wish to try any other razor - I am satisfied with what I have.

I do not use all the vintage razors I have but still, I like to keep them  - maybe one day I will create a display or something.

Modern Razors - my plan is to sell at least half of them.

Straight Razors (not shown) is an area I can see myself buying more.

Oh by the way, after all these razors, Merkur 34C is still my favorite Smile.

Damn nice collection Sourav. Like you, I'm ready for RAD to be cured for good. Although I have not been able to try some of the higher end options due to simply not being able to afford them, I'm pretty satisfied with a few razors I have right now. Namely the RazoRock German 37, Karve D and Game Changer. I would love to try the various Blackbirds, but I'm afraid that if I like them a lot, I'll have to buy. Spending that much on a razor right now when I already get great shaves with what I have gives me pause.

Jeff, I would be lying if I say I get better shaves or even better experience with my higher priced razors compared to what I get/used to get with 37C/Karve/Game Changer. I bought all these razors simply because I was curious to find out how different and diverse the shaving experience can be. If someone asked me back in December 2016 what are my 3 favorite razors I would say 34C, 37C, and BlackBird. Now in October 2018, those 3 are still my favorites.

And for me, this razor thing is not even like the Car analogy I always read: Honda will take you to place B from A, just like a BMW. I drive a Honda, tried a friend's BMW - the difference between two experiences is very noticeable to me - I can feel every turn with my Civic, my car cries every time I drive uphill - nothing like that with the BMW. I enjoyed driving the BMW a lot more - def not buying a Civic again if I can afford a BMW. I can't say my experience is any better with my Wolfman/Paradigm compared to my 34C/Red Tip/DE 89/Tech etc.

So yeah, I won't even recommend all these razors to someone who is happy with his razors.

Haha! I find the same thing. Hard to beat the 34C. Dusted mine off this morning and thoroughly enjoyed the shave.

Nice collection. If you start selling I'll start buying. Lol

I think it's fine to be satisfied at some point with what you have and not feel the need to explore further. However, part of my enjoyment of wet shaving is new exploration, so I probably will always be open to considering some new hardware or software to try. And I like the fact that I have enough razors/handles, soaps and creams, and aftershaves to be able to have a unique experience each day of the month.

I had the same experience. After trying countless high-end razors, I now only own a 34c.

While it was my first razor, I didn’t love it initially. I had to come back to it after many years of using other razors to appreciate its nimble design.

Very nice collection but you can't be done - I see open space in the photo not covered by razors....
