Good morning everyone. I just woke up from bed. Haven't done it yet. Going to later. I'll let y'all know how it goes.

Its obvious you're a little nervous, thats ok. I was too the first time I put a DE blade to my face. Just relax, don't drink too much (any) coffee before you shave. Make sure you prep well, hot shower or towel on your face to soften the beard, soak your brush if its a boar, maybe put a little water on the soap puck (bloom) for a few minutes then just take your time, breathe and be present in the moment. Focus on the details, the sound of the water, the brush on the puck and on your face, the sound of the razor removing the stubble, don't play music or roar the fan you want to hear the sounds and be mindful. Pay equal attention o the post shave, rinsing the skin, applying alum block (recommended for novice) and the cold rinse, apply a great aftershave and you're ready to face the day. You'll look back on this and smile. Good luck

I agree with Marko 100%. Just relax, concentrate, and go slow. No reason to rush and no reason to worry.

Thanks for the advice.
Your very first post here on 8/26 (soft deleted by you) was a new thread stating you had a Schlick Korona on its way to you in a couple days and you were "nervous" about your first DE shave. Here we are 14 weeks later and your still nervous over your first DE shave. Just how slowly does your beard grow?

My beard grows slowly. As I mentioned before, the real reason why I haven't shaved with it yet is because I had to trim my beard down which I haven't had the chance to do for a long while since I got the razor, but now that I have trimmed my beard, I am almost ready to shave with it. I am preparing my lather right now. I will let everyone know how the shave goes when I'm done. Just be patient. Thanks.

I think it's time to watch this movie again.
Is that movie any good? I haven't seen it.
