I Got Enough Lather for 3 Passes plus Touchup

I have a rather varied selection of beard products as well. I'm sitting on 7 or 8 different oils, a couple balms, a couple waxes, 2 or 3 boar brushes and a couple different wood and horn combs. I find my beard care to be every bit as enjoyable as shaving my head.

As for the op, I think it is great that people have the option to choose whether they want to be extravagant or frugal in this activity... Whether they make it a hobby or simple an enjoyable task is a choice we all make for ourselves.

I just find it interesting how some folks say they don't care what others do, but in the same breath nitpick what others do and question the validity of those individual choices with accusations of hypocrisy. It seems odd to me... But not worth debating any longer...

When I first started I felt the same way. I even posted similar questions and comments asking why people wanted to waste soap. Then I went through a stretch where I had too little soap loaded for a few days in a row. Now, I firmly believe it is more wise and prudent to have a bit of soap to go down the drain from the initial load rather tha. An entire brush of soap go down the drain after a reload for 1 final pass or touch-up. Plus the addition time envolved in reloading g the brush is just not worth the risk.
As I mentioned in another post about brushes, "I got over it!"

BadDad, I completely agree with you on this. It really is ok to allow folks to share on a hobby forum without nitpicking them.
