Am I the only one who doesn't give that much thought to how much or little soap he uses? If I use a bit too little, either because of the soap, the water, the brush, or the most likely culprit, my technique, I simply add more. If I end up with a lather that was more than I reasonably needed (at least 50+% of the time), it just feels luxurious.
As for the gentleman in the blog that grim mentions, I agree that the post seems quite confusing. I don't care enough to think too much about it. I suppose BadDad has a point and one could pose the question directly to the blogger but bringing it to our wider audience here at DFS adds its own spin to the discussion and I, for one, like that.
Personally, I have definitely made a dent in my favorite soaps and creams but not so much in those that are serviceable but just don't have that extra je ne sais quoi.
