Yes, a Simpson Chubby has been obtained. I was not looking for anything, dammit! I accidentally stumbled across a Chubby 1 LE Called Sapphire Candy. I was considering a Trafalgar T1 to try a smaller knot. Then I thought, why not a Chubby? Plus, Pasteur's was having another 15% off sale. Then I saw the LE. I was seduced dammit! It was an LE and the last one, plus 15% off. So I pounced!!!

Thank you! After I bought it I saw they had The Duke in the LE also. But I wanted the smaller know and have been wanting a Chubby. The Duke did look the type of handle I prefer for holding, but we'll see.

Thank you! I've used it a couple times so far and it has been good. I feel like it's a bit on the small side, but I may just have to get used to that. For no reason other than that's just what they are, it seems a lot of my other brushes are 24 mm or 26 mm, I think I'm just used to a bigger knot. I had no issue building a ladder, next time I use it I may just spend a few more seconds loading the brush due to the smaller knot.

I have not really enjoyed anything under 24 mm , too small for bowl and face. However it does serve a gd size for travel though.. you might need to get another chubby! Lol

I'm hoping that I like it. As soon as I put it to my face, it just felt kind of weird and small. I'm hoping I just need to get used to it being I usually use bigger brushes. We shall see.

I have been considering a chubby.  Do you find you bend/torque the bristles less than with a long handle?

That's a good question. I am still feeling this brush out. The smaller knot feels so different to me than other my brushes which seem to be 24-26mm. I know loft can affect that I believe, but I hadn't factored handle length to affect splay. It has a 46mm loft vs. a 50mm loft on the T3. I'm sure splay will likely be a little different vs. the T3. I'm not sure if I would be able to tell if the handle factors into it at all. I am going to play with them a little later if I have some time.
