I feel very appealing this new injector.
Both, specs and design.

It doesn’t look very comfortable to hold.

Interesting. I was not aware of this razor. Looking at one online shaving reviewer (Sharpologist) it does seem the hand hold could be an acquired taste. I would be curious if it was compatible with Schick Twin II injector blades. I happen to be in the middle of a series of comparative side by side shaves with the Type M, N, and O loaded with Schick Twin II blades. I have come to prefer them over the conventional injector blade.

Indeed.
The Hype Razor web site has this illustration to show how to hold it during a shave:

It looks unnatural to me.

I disagree with Mark.
As on other forums, I answered him that this project is good.
Handle forces the correct holding, in the back. So to have more control and less pressure.

To me this looks like some of the windshield ice scrapers I have owned. I do not know whether this is a good thing or a bad thing.

While I do have an ATT SE1 razor that uses Feather AC style blades and a Schick Type M injector razor, I tend to prefer either DE razors or straight razors, so I am not inclined to try the Hype.

That thing looks terrible. I agree, it's more suited to scraping ice off your windshield.

I am just the opposite.  I think it looks very cool.  I am really not a fan of vintage injector razors.  I do not like leaving blades in razors and prefer to take them apart for cleaning.  Thus I really like my Supply Co V2 and Asylum Injector both of which allow me to load the blade manually without using an injector cartridge.  Watching the Hype X1 video, I saw that it was possible to load the blade manually and disassemble for cleaning between shave helped me decide to order one.  I will day the fit, finish and machining tolerances are first rate.  I am looking forward to the shave tomorrow.
