I am sure some of you have been wet shaving with a brush and cream/soap long before I was born. Forget about any canned shaving cream or gel. How many different shaving creams or shaving soaps have you tried/used in your life?

For example, if you have tried three different scents of T&H shaving creams, that counts as 3. And if you have used 2 different AOS soaps then your total would be 5.

It doesn't matter if you used the cream/soap once and hated it or used a tub until it was gone and bought 25 more tubs of the same thing.

Thanks!

Ive tried around 35 soaps and a few creams. Right now the den is down to 22 Soaps and 1 cream with 3 soaps in the mail this week. Very excited to get my hands on the new product. I like to try all sorts of different software...shakes things up

Everything I have tried I currently own. I just don't buy soaps for the heck of it. I know what scents I like, so I don't guess.

Good thread!

Probably around 20 different brands and multiple scents of most of them.

Around 140 and still have 120 but with duplicates. About 20 of those soaps and creams just were not shave quality at all (artisan bath soap with clay) and stay far away from ScalpMaster shave soap as well. Another 15 or so were brushless creams and make a good fast shave when needed. I just love variety!

Much too many to remember. Big Grin

I started with quite a few of the commercial brands, then quickly discarded them in favour of the artisanal offerings of which I have tried just about all of them. However, there are a few newer ones I have not gotten to.
I love experimenting, but i just don't do it as often, now, as I am extremely satisfied with my favourite soap. Shy

Probably over 100, but have BSTed a lot getting myself down to around 30. I really need to try CRSW/Mystic Water though from what I have read.

Me too... have been wet shaving for ~12 years and am curious by nature so have tried many different soaps but no idea how many.
