Trying a new matte/textured finish to give it more of an obvious handmade, lathe cut appearance. I’m excited about it! Oh, and it’s also highly grippy when wet.

Thanks Paul. Yes, "red clay" definitely came to mind while making it.
I made 2 others in this color, but polished them and named them "Adobe No.1 & No.2". "Terracotta" is a great name for this one. Someone on Instagram thought it looked like Terracotta too. So that's what it should be!
Its also very interesting how grippy it is when wet. The water just wicks away! Might be on to something here...
