Wanted to make a long handled brush. Found these 2 shorter resin blanks in the shop and this was the result.

Personally I really like your work and have come close to pulling the trigger on one or two but, I would like to see more in this shape as I find it more to my taste. The color combo not so much though!! I don't mean that in a bad way though...

Do you do custom work, Paul? Like, could muzichead request a custom design in a longer handle and certain colors or such? If so, can you go into the process a bit?

Hey Paul

Yes, I do custom requests often. Completed 2 last week and have a few more on the list for this coming week.

Folks can message me with what color(s), shape and knot size. Turnaround time is about 1 week or so (assuming I have the dye colors on-hand). If I don’t have the colors, I can easily order them.

Price is $59 shipped (US) at the moment… the same as most of my other handles in the Etsy shop. No payment is needed until the handle is completed and the customer is happy with the results.

I’m not finished with this one yet, but I also kinda don’t like it.

This is an attempt at merging 2 different types of resin in a long barber-style handle.

I might abort this mission…

I'm with you, it doesn't have that wow-factor your brushes typically do. I wonder if it's the very light top portion? Your last one, a brilliant success, had the darker color at the top. Could have nothing to do with it. Just a thought.
