Picked up the titanium. I previously owned the polished titanium, but sold it as I didn’t like the grip and qc issues with the engraving. The satin finish looks like it should resolve both. Ordered the fast shipping so I’ll follow up with the shave soon hopefully

New satin ti taiga got to my door today. Huge improvement over the previous polished version in my opinion.  The new finish vastly improves the grip.  The only downside is the difficulty seeing the dial. The engraving is very shallow as well which made my mini project much more difficult that it needed to be

I am the happy owner of a Rocnel Sailor '21. It and my Carbon Ti are about the only things I use these days. Is there any reason why I should be considering a Taiga Ti? (Besides the obvious FOMO, that is.)

I own both as well. The new satin ti taiga and sailor are the two best adjustable in my opinion. I still prefer the shave of the sailor a little bit, but I will likely keep reaching for the taiga more often due to the weight.

I'd be happy to post a side by side and some comparative notes if it helps.

Taiga Ti shaves as well as Rocnel 21, but its weight is close to Carbon Ti. It is more like mix of your favorite razors.

Thanks for the photos. (And nice paint job!)

I like that the Taiga is completely user-serviceable. Having Tester's notes of the dimensions of the spring, I assume that the thing would be basically indestructible.
