Shootout between the game changer and START with their mildest base plates (.68/.69). The alum block was very mildly vocal on the START side as I insisted a bit more. All in all, I found on this shave that, the gamechanger was a fraction smoother and closer. Cleanups and pickups the gamechanger did a better job.
Wrapping up on conclusions:
Do I recommend the START? Sure
Would I buy one? No, because I have a game changer and both shave very much on par.
I prefer the game changer over the START for several reasons:
- better grip
- better finish
- lower profile of the head
- a bit smoother and closer (to me)

[Image: L6Ir1KQ.jpg]Sorry guys for the delay on the review,  been a busy week. I had the opportunity to try out the START this week. For the money it's an excellent razor. The finish is a step below the top razors, each plate had a different degree of finish. Alot of tooling marks swirls on a couple of the plates, but two of the plates were finished much better. Having said that it is more than acceptable and a great value. You can't and shouldn't expect perfection at this price point. I started with the 1.18 gap, and I was happy I did. incredibly smooth, nice shave. The handle design has a nice balance with the head and nice to look at, but it does sacrifice some grip. It was not an issue for me, but I see how it could cause issues. My face did have a tiny bit of soreness after, similar to the way I feel after shaving with other high gap razors, the .95 timeless comes to mind, but the shave itself was smoother and bbs. I can shave with .74 wolfman, 1.05 wr2, lvl 2 charcoal and I don't experience this ever so slight sting on my cheeks when I touch them after my shave.
I also used the .9 plate. Incredibly smooth, if you told me I didn't put the blade in I would believe you. That being said I did have to do an extra pass to achieve bbs, but it was a nice change of pace. If you are on the fence about this razor and looking to add a nice moderately price razor to your collection, you can't go wrong with this one.
