I have both in stainless ?? for me is the Taiga at the same Setting more efficent then the Elbrus . But the Elbrus cuts a little bit easier the hair . My sweetspot for the best result is 4.5 with the Taiga . And for the Elbrus i think 6 .

I have the original Taiga in stainless that came with the OC and SB plates and the V2 in titanium. My 2 Elbrus razors are on the way and may hit the States mid week. Waiting in anticipation! The last adjustable that I got recently is the Rocnel Sailor Hybrid. Also looking forward to the new Blackland adjustable which is supposed to be coming in September. James at Wolfman has also started his design of a Wolfman Adjustable.

Received my titanium polished and stainless hybrid satin and polished yesterday. One thing I did after unboxing is take my original stainless Taiga and took the handle off and tried it on the stainless Elbrus. IT WORKS and, as an added bonus, allows the Elbrus to open up the gap all the way. I like the older handle because it’s longer as well.
