Apologies for taking so long with this razor. I’ve now had the chance to shave my head with it twice, and my neck/cheeks once.
I will be shipping it off to the next on the list this week.

Impressions: First shave was my neck and cheeks. This is an incredibly mild, yet efficient razor. I loaded a fresh Nacet and shaved as I normally do.
I really like this razor, but I do have some notes:

1) I found it a bit difficult to make a defined line on the edges of my beard due to where the blade sits on the head of the razor, but I’m sure that can be easily figured out after more uses. The shave itself felt so smooth on each stroke it almost felt like it wasn’t working. It almost felt like it was sticking to my skin at some points. That’s not really a negative, but it was a strange feeling- not uncomfortable at all but definitely not something I had felt before.

2) My first head shave was mostly successful, but I did have a few weepers. Again this was mostly due to a learning curve and I had much more success on round two. I’m not used to a spring loaded pivoting head because I usually use a DE, or a free swinging cart (Gillette Guard from India). The tension of the spring threw me off a bit and at first I felt like I had to use too much pressure to have the head/blade lay flat on my skin to shave. I soon realized my hand position and angle were more to blame, and I didn’t need to solely rely on pressure to get the right angle. I just needed to shave as I normally would, and the pivoting head would take care of the rest. Once I got the hang of it, it was like butter. I’ve never used a razor with such little feedback. I could have sworn the blade wasn’t making contact with my skin, it felt that smooth.

I would definitely be a buyer now that I’ve given it a few uses, and I’ve already contacted Proof to establish a retail partnership. The magnet holding the blade is strong, and I’ve never felt like it could slip off during a shave. Easy to load a blade, easy to change it out. This razor is a winner.

I was asked for my shipping info on Wed and told it would get out that week. No tracking received as of yet.

Edit - I have tracking now and will update estimated arrival once it's in the system.
