I have been wetshaving for many years(with what are considered vintage hardware and classic soaps/creams) but in the last decade I began to experiment with new/different hardware and software.
I have settled on synthetic brushes (mostly custom like Rudy Vey, but also Muhle STF’s and others), Captain’s Choice and Cayuen bowls, Ti razors (Timeless and Aylesworth) and Vintage Gillettes (Old Type/pre-war Tech’s/RFB’s), mix of Artisan (Dr Jon’s/Caties/PAA/Ethos) and classic (Speick/La Toja/Old Spice/Volabra/Palmolive stick/Wilky stick) soaps, mix of creams (palmolive/speick/la toja/polish), mostly vintage blades (polsilver, spoilers, P74, English London Bridge, plus platinum, etc), mix of old school aftershaves and newer balms.
I like PIF’ing stuff to newbies, and trading with other enthusiasts/collectors.
