Pete123 Thank You for the sample. I have 2 Shave with it and enough for 1 more. I have very little if any sense of smell so I can’t comment on that. It was easy to Lather with very good cushion and slickness

2nd shave with the HC&C Barbershop sample and I am even more favorably impressed today. First a word on the sample and the "sticking". If I had refrigerated the sample for a few minutes, there is no doubt in my mind that the sample would have peeled away easily from the paper. I might suggest in the future using parchment paper (used for baking). I have had tremendous success sending flattened samples just as you did with this product.
Anyway, back to the soap.
For a non-tallow product, there is a great deal of slickness and sheen. The scent today seemed to open up a bit, and I am getting an orange-like scent, which is very pleasing.
Your soap can definitely hang with the big-boys, congratulations.

Gents, Please send me a private message with your first and last name if you only get 3-4 shaves with your sample. I have your name and address if you ordered a sample, though can't connect with your DFS screen name. Shavemd mentioned having enough for three shaves. My intent was enough for ten shaves. I'll increase the sample size. As well, I'm sure there is waste trying to get the soap off the wax paper.

Thanks a million to primotenore for suggesting the baking parchment, which I have already ordered. Refrigerating the sample helps, though still isn't perfect.

I was able to swing by my PO Box this morning and pick up the sample. When I opened up the box I was hit with a wonderful aroma. I can't wait to give it a try tomorrow morning!

just had a great shave with my sample this morning. keep up the good work!

Shave #4 with the free sample. Started to shave when the lather was still too dry and there was almost no slickness. My error. I added water until the lather was just this side of drippy. Big difference.
Great scent. Here's today's brush loaded to the max...
