I recently acquired this soap in a trade.
When I used it this morning,  the lather was very light and airy. I tried loading it longer and it was still a very light lather.  It shaved ok.

I’m used to a much more dense lather. What can I do to make a denser lather from this soap?  Or can I?

Slowly bring up the lather re water

Try a different brush

I used it again this morning.  Not the lather I'm wanting.

I took the croap out of the container, re-mixed and put it back.  I'll try it again tomorrow.

If it isn't satisfying tomorrow, then its "off with its head."

Life's too short and there are too many great soaps to fiddle with one.

Way back when, I had quite a few LPL soaps. None have made the cut.

MaxP Do you have any shea, kokum, or mango butter? If so, maybe add a smear on top of the soap puck before loading. I think it is just a "weak" lather as it doesn't have a diverse amount of oils/fats besides stearic, coconut and glycerin. That's probably why the next formula release he added the tallow and shea butter. I honestly wasn't in love with his soaps post shave feel. The original LPL was my favorite but left my skin a bit dry wanting a bit more fat.

Last post on this topic.

I used the LPL again this morning.  It was really no better.  Lather was still very light and airy.  It disappeared like Mystic Water.  This,  in spite of me loading the heck out of it.

So - I trashed it.  Off with it's head (or jar).  LOL

I'll use soaps that are really great.
I've got A&E, Zingariman, Declaration Grooming, AoS old formula and more. I'm unwilling to deal with a less than great soap.

Thanks for the comments

Have you considered using it as hand/bath soap? It should work out. Do that with shave soap remnants
