Vintage Shaver
Seattle, WA
For some reason I hadn't been aware of this forum.  I have been active on Shave My Face and The Shave Nook, moderating the latter for awhile in the past.  I rediscovered traditional wet shaving about 10 years ago, at age 57, after many years of cartridge razors and electrics.  Subsequently I have tried a wide variety of brushes, razors, blades, soaps and creams, and aftershaves, finally settling my hardware choices on Rooney Finest brushes and a customized Feather AS-D2 razor.  At present I am finishing up my few vintage Gillette Platinums and Schick Plus Platinums, which will leave me with Wilkinson Light Brigades only.   I am also trying to use up my remaining shaving creams, after which I'll just have my soaps, which consist mainly of vintage tallow-based Penhaligon's, Floris, and Trumper's.

I'm looking forward to exploring this forum and getting to know you.
