What you are seeing is correct. It takes a little bit of time to gain access (very little, really).

From the Forum FAQs:

"...new users need to have 10 posts AND be registered on the site for 14 days before you can access the bst forum section and use the private messaging system."

Edit: I see you are beyond the 10 days. It looks like you have 5 posts. Shouldn't take long at all to reach 10.

Yep, that seems to be the prerequisite to this hobby ... Excessive soaps. At least you always have variety in the shaves. I couldn't fathom going back to a can shaving cream in one scent.

Welcome to DFS and enjoy your stay.  As mrdoug stated, you should be good to go with the B/S/T board and the private messaging.

Yup, too many soaps (too many every shaving goody, actually) sounds just about right.
