Hello from China

Hi Everyone,

I am originally from the UK and currently live in China. This is the first shaving forum that I have joined and I am looking forward to making a contribution. At present, I am deciding which artisan products to buy as I only have experience with well-established British creams/soaps and other European products, such as Proraso. I enjoy watching Youtubers such as TSE and PaulH and may post some videos myself in the future.

the reason I ask is because I have China blocked through the proxy server. I don't have time to deal with China's constant DDOS attacks.

Yes, I am using a VPN. It is the only way I can access the outside world as most websites from outside China are blocked, so a VPN is the only way I can access Youtube etc

It depends on the time of day, but the highest I can get is around 140 kb/s. It tends to drop the connection quite often as well. I going home to the UK soon, so I will be able to watch videos in HD again!
