Been shaving with a safety razor forever. Good technique but found that when I went to replace my grandfather's ancient Gillette I don't know product and there is a dizzying array available out there now.

You people know product so I will be hiding out here and learning.

Welcome to DFS! My Dad had an early Fat Boy from '58 or '59. It lived forever in one spot under the bathroom sink UNTIL I started my traditional shaving, then we couldn't find it. Glad you have a family heirloom!

Welcome to DFS and enjoy your stay.  Take a look around at the various razors we discuss and feel free to ask questions about them.  It's one reason we're all here. Happy2
