Where should I go?  I already have some ideas, but I'd love to hear other things to see shaving wise.  I have never been to either country so any general things to do would also be welcome.  Off the beaten path or totally touristy.  I'm fine with either.

Here's what I did and have no regrets.... Pass through all the sights in London as quickly as possible and get to Amsterdam!!

Haha, well I'm over alcohol.

My point was it's just a better vibe in general in Amsterdam.
I like London and love British people.

I live in Colorado, btw.

Same here.  We started out thinking we were going to Ireland/Scotland, but the wife really wants to see England and see Buckingham Palace, etc.  I don't care where we go.  I just like to travel.

They're both amazingly beautiful cities.
Find some art museums, do some shopping, eat good food, see some incredible architecture, and enjoy.
Just bring an umbrella everywhere.

No need for an umbrella as a very good Gortex (rain) jacket will be much more convenient. Trust me. Smile
Have a great trip.

Speaking of shopping and shaving, the Mayfair district is lush, famous, and historic. GFT's shop on Curzon Street opened in 1875 IIRC and is supposed to be marvelous. GFT also has a shop on Duke of York Street in the St James district of Westminster. Have yourself a man-spa day. No doubt there are plenty of things in Mayfair and St James for Mrs. EFDan to see and do too. (Maybe too many!)

Enjoy your trip.

I've never done it but my brother has and he recommends doing the all in traditional haircut and shave at one of the old school barbershops in London.  I'll see if I can get actual names

That was one idea I was actually thinking about thanks. Smile
