Headed to Las Vegas

I have lived in Las Vegas since 2003. There are a few shaving stores to check out if you're interested in commercial brands. We have several Art of Shaving stores, L'Occitane, Crabtree & Evelyn, and The Body Shop. There are also casinos that offer full service shaves but I have not tried one. Of course you can always check out AdP and Creed at Neiman Marcus. Also, Saks always has all of their AdP shaving products available to test on display at the Fashion Show Mall, which is on the strip on Spring Mountain and Las Vegas BLVD, just across from Wynn and next to Treasure Island, with bridges from and to both.

I strongly recommend visiting Hofbrauhaus across the street from the Hard Rock Hotel since you're staying there. This is only recommended if you like German food and beer. It is an entertaining place to have some beers and dinner.

Never tried the Cade cream either so I guess that will be one buy for sure.

At least you can smell the Cade before you buy it. They have a tester of it. I passed on it but I'm not into creams.

I'm not either usually, but I hear great things about it. I want to sniff this also.

I don't know about anything particular about shaving in Vegas, but I HIGHLY recommend you check out a few of these spots for food:

Hash House A Go Go in The Linq
Burgr in Planet Hollywood
Wicked Spoon in Cosmopolitan

where are you staying?

Just off of the strip at the Hard Rock. Going with a chef that can't stand Gordon Ramsey though so I doubt we will set foot in Burgr.

I'll check the other two out though.

I went to Vegas in March and had lunch at Burgr. It was delicious. Maybe sneak away from your chef friend to go "play some tables" and grab the pork burger.

totally agree with @"TheHandleBar" about Burgr being delicious. I'd probably try to go around lunch time as the wait for dinner can get long.

I've been to that hofbrauhaus twice..good times and even better beer.  

Have the shot lady introduce you to her paddle.  Hahaha

Hector, I don't play golf but I so agree with you about the amount of time I can tolerate the place.  In fact, the last time I was there (with my friend, who was visiting from Scotland) I got rooms at the MGM Signature two blocks off the Strip.  No gambling, quiet, beautiful suites with terrific views yet a short walk to all the glitz.  Perfect.

I usually do, but we'll see. It's not my party I'm just along for the ride. If I see something really interesting I'll go off on my own.
