Was more suggesting quality. Many getting hair, just of inconsistent and dubious quality

If the supplier is the same, the quality should be the same. If there's a trade war, the supplier should have pent up supply.

These are organic products...every shipment will differ even under controlled growth conditions from a single sourced 'rancher'. Were these synthetic hair, that a different matter. Further, the basic deltas amongst the organic raw material makes it impossible to treat to a consistent level within a batch, let alone between batches

I am sure that is generally true, but if you read back, supply and quality would not be viable excuses for having informed a customer that the knots were about ready to be glued in … and then disappearing again. Neither would a trade war.

My mates there tell me it's pretty extreme...army going door to door to check
on people's status. Cops roughing up people, all caught on video....go to twitter
and see for yourself.

I don't know if he's caught up in it. Maybe he is maybe he did a runner. I conversed
with him couple of years ago, seemed like an on-the-level guy....but on the interwebz,
who really knows.

I had a very unpleasant experience with this manufacturer ( march - april ) . And I just forgot about him. Not long ago I received two knots 28 (Oumo Lotus Manchurian) $ 45 + $ 47. I am delighted . And I don't understand how you can improve the knot so that it costs $ 140-180.

On Aug 22, he sent me pics of a knot sitting on the handle for approval prior to knot set. I immediately approved. Not a word since. I sent an IG DM 13hrs ago but no reply as of yet. Will update this thread as needed.

Ya know, with any custom orders I place, I go in with a mindset of "Order it, forget about it. You will know when it is done". I only inquired about my brush because of this thread. Then I looked at the date. 4 weeks to glue a knot seems excessive.

Granted, my order was piggybacked in a friend's order of 6ish knots. Maybe those are holding mine up?

So...I just checked more dates. Those handles were mailed out on or about March 8.

I dunno. I give. That brush isn't really worth the energy. I am only out a handle so far.

I just hope Srdjan and his crew are safe and healthy. Brush be damned.
