If I had any machinist know how or skills, I would be making myself handles like crazy. I will always enjoy a razor makers stock handle, but every now and then I dress my razors up with different handles. 80-85mm is my sweet spot. I enjoy how it changes the shave characteristics for me. So post your handles here so we can all enjoy and drool over them. It’s been quite a hunt but I’m down to 2 handles I need (or is it want), the stork diplomat in 85mm Ti and the Charcoal Goods spiral copper handle.

100 years old, very inexpensive, and easy to come by.  This nimble and ergonomically elegant little handle makes all my razors shave better.

I am handle illiterate! What is that handle? It looks like it is only a few years old, if that!

MaineYooper

It's a chrome plated brass Durham-Duplex 'DuBarry' handle from the 1920s.  You can find them on eBay from $10 to $30.
They are 76mm X 11mm, and weigh 45g.  Most of them are well worn and corroded.  The razor head is not to my liking.
It uses carpet cutter blades, and gives a rough shave.  This one was new old stock and cost me a little under $25.

Stunning Matt! Very nice representation of Artisans ahead of their time and now just a memory...tough to say what’s my fav in your image, I’m like a woman in a shoe or purse shop, I get both!

[Image: ymbzrIR.jpg]I have a few handles, too.  Pic isn’t very good, but you’ll get the main idea.  (I apologize to anybody who is OCD that the handle aren’t evenly spaced; the pic was taken on a soft surface and they kept moving. Eventually I just gave up.)

From left to right, they are:

IKon Tuckaway

Darwin Deluxe

IKon bamboo

UFO Kaiser Short (stainless steel)

UFO Titan Fine L (titanium)

Wolfman hybrid handle (stainless steel).

I enjoy all of these handles, but I have to admit that I haven’t used the Darwin in a long, long time.  Thanks to this thread, I’m gonna give it a go again real soon.
