My first shave with the H&S Ti Efficient was excellent! Definitely one of the best first shaves I've had with a new razor.

Here's a bit of background to put my review into context:
I shave my head and face about every other day. I used cartridges until December 2021 when my brother got me interested in traditional wet shaving with SE and DE razors. Over the past ~13 months I have definitely been afflicted with RAD and bought a couple dozen razors. As I've gained more experience, I've come to prefer razors with a bit of blade feel and good efficiency. A few of my current favorites are the Yates 921-H & EH, Alpha Outlaw, Timeless Slim Titanium, Lambda Athena, and Rocnel Sailor. I own two titanium razors - the aforementioned Timeless Slim and a Tatara Masamune Nodachi.

For this morning's shave, I did two passes on my head followed by three passes on my face. I started with the grain on my head, and I felt like I was able to use this razor on autopilot after the first few strokes of that first pass. The angle was very easy for me to find and maintain. After the against the grain pass, my head was BBS without any hint of irritation. With some razors, I have to do some clean up after the second pass, but this razor didn't require any.

The face shave was a similar story. The razor was very smooth with nice efficiency. It was very easy to handle, and the weight/balance were great. I did get the slightest bit of blood appearing in a couple spots around my chin where I got a little overzealous on my final (ATG) pass. Overall, the process and results were excellent. I was really impressed by how easy this razor was to use on this first shave. There really wasn't much of a learning curve at all. If the next few shaves are just as good, I might be looking to add this razor to my lineup!

Another excellent head and face shave from the Ti Efficient! Again, I had two days' growth and did two passes on my head and three on my face. The shave felt pretty effortless. The weight, maneuverability, and efficiency of this razor make it easy to whip it around quickly. This was only my second shave with this razor, and it was faster than some shaves with razors I own. Where it really excelled today was when I went against the grain on my neck. That's where I'm most likely to get irritation, but there was none. This really seems to be a "Goldilocks" razor for me. Many thanks to H&S Co. and andrewjs18 for making this possible!

I'd like to get onto this pass around If possible andrewjs18 .
I really like the Haircut and Shave razors, and curious how this might work as a daily razor, for my use.
Edit; in Missouri

I’m always hunting for a razor that can take down my trouble spot at and below my jaw line.  Been using a Timeless Ti 95 SB and I really like it but I think I need a touch more efficiency to take down this area.

I need to go against the grain, at difficult angles and find myself breaking the golden rule of going over the same area too many times.  With most razors, I end up getting some drag and irritation in this area.

Perhaps this is a better razor for me.  I’ve tried quite a few different razors and haven’t found the perfect one yet.  Had the opportunity to test drive Tatara Nodachi Ti on this forum and was really impressed.

This was my last shave with the Ti Efficient. I'll be shipping it off to keto later.

If I sound like a broken record in these posts, it's because this razor is just consistently, effortlessly good. Again, I had a great shave on my head (WTG and ATG) and face (WTG, XTG, and ATG). This was my second time using this Wholly Kaw Rebelle, and I didn't quite get the lather dialed in (totally my fault - not a criticism of the soap). Thankfully, the razor didn't seem to mind the subpar lather and still performed very well.

I was really looking forward to my turn with this razor after reading through all the previous posts in this thread, and I'm happy to say that it met or exceeded my expectations. This one is definitely going on my wish list. Thanks again to Haircut & Shave and andrewjs18 for this passaround.

I found this razor to be pretty forgiving while going against the grain and buffing. I pushed the envelope a bit, and I didn't really get punished for "breaking the golden rule."

I've used the titanium Nodachi twice so far, and I found the H&S Ti Efficient to be smoother and easier to use. The Nodachi was a bit rough against the grain for me. Granted, two shaves with the Nodachi is not much experience, and my second shave was significantly better than the first. But the Ti Efficient was very easy to use right out of the box. I hope it works out for you.
