Got the razor yesterday. First use today.  To get to the point:  easy BBS with no effort.   Fantastic.   Will use a few more times but, in short, this rocked.

Second use today.  Used same blade for the second time in the razor (Gillette Silver Blue).  Stuck with A&E.  The shave was, again, effortless. This time I decided to go for a BBS and it was probably -- I'm fairly sure -- the easiest BBS I've ever gotten.  Yes, I had to do some slightly careful work, but it was far less than any other razor I've used. Maybe I'm so tuned into Aji's manner of making razors and have used my N075 so many times that I just get the angles down.  The razor provides enough feel that I know when I'm shaving off stubble and is very much similar in that respect to the N075.  But it's just a touch more efficient. Not positive yet that I can shave as mindlessly or quickly as I can using the N075 but it's certainly not substantially different.  And it is far less likely to bit than any more aggressive razor I've ever used.  For a daily, or near daily driver, this works.

Here is the most telling thing:  something happened today that hasn't happened in the 1,000+ shaves I've done daily since wet shaving.  I didn't put on aftershave. That's why there's none in the photo below.  I completely forgot to. The shave was so easy and comfortable that I guess I didn't even think to do so.  Normally, after shaving, I would have said to myself, "now, what aftershave should I use?" and reach into the cabinet to get one.  Instead, I guess that the shave was so smooth and easy that my mind said to itself, "you must have put on some splash or balm already," so I subconsciously moved on to "it's time to put on moisturizer." So I put on the moisturizer I always use after splash and/or shaving balm until I suddenly said "wait; I didn't use any aftershave."  Kind of a testament to how good a shave I had.

So, if you've not gotten the point yet, yes, I'm loving this razor.  I will now want to try it with different blades and with different soaps and see what happens.

Finished four more shaves.  Nothing to really add to my prior two postings.  Beautifully finished, feeling perfect in the hand, the Efficient falls squarely in the realm of “mild but smooth and efficient.”  A step or two more efficient than the H&S N075 (the natural comparison) and it could be used as a daily driver.  After all, I’ve used it five days in a row and it gives BBS shaves almost effortlessly. It is, for me, at the high end of a razor I would use every day, so I would consider more a middle of the razor than an absolute mild razor.  As others have noted, it is essentially in between a N075 and a P076. If a person had an N075, an Efficient and a P076 and/or an H&S Aggressive, that person would really cover the waterfront of razor choices. As others have pointed out (and I agree), it is like a Rockwell 4/5 but smoother or, alternatively put, has the feel of a Timeless .68 but the efficiency of a .95.  Just a great razor.

I only have one issue with the razor, and it’s not really with the razor itself but with the fact that I don’t love titanium for razors. I find them to be resonant in a way that I never like.  This one came closest to being desirable for me, and I’m a touch on the fence about whether I would want a titanium razor, no matter how well it works, even this one.  Now, if Aji were to produce the Efficient in mixed metal or steel (like the N075), that would be incredible!

Finally, in addition to using a GSB and a Bic in it, I've more recently tried the razor with a Nacet, a red Persona, and a Gillette 7 O’Clock Yellow. The last one would be my blade of choice for this razor.  A sharp blade that clicked well, provided a good level of feedback and left a smooth face.

So the picture below shows four days of shaves…..(Brushes:  Mozingo, Kent, DG on a Dogwood, and an Elite Manchurian white; Soaps:  all obvious; Aftershaves: all readable).

So, all in all, a huge thanks to andrewjs18  and to Ali at H&S for this great passaround!

Finally, I've contacted Stickshift and it will be on the way to him in the next day or so.

Thanks to Lesser for sending the razor along and to andrewjs18 for the opportunity to try it out. It arrived safely yesterday afternoon. I'm getting married in two days, so I'm sticking with familiar razors until then to avoid any nicks or irritation on the big day (although based on the reviews in this thread, I don't expect any). After Friday, I'll be using the Ti Efficient and posting my thoughts. It's a fantastic looking razor, and I'm looking forward to using it!
