the bird has landed this afternoon from Aji! I hope to give it a go tonight before sending it off to Dave in KY. I'll try it again when it makes its way back to me..

I'm always amazed at just how light titanium razors are compared to stainless razors...

Awesome and looking forward to your thoughts on it. Do you still have my address?

razor is en route to Dave in KY.

I shaved using this bad boy last night.  I used a personna med prep blade that I had in my era razor for 2-3 shaves.

The razor is very efficient and fairly smooth.  I could feel the blade, but it didn't feel as blade forward (some might even say as harsh) to me as say my ikon tech. prior to my shave last night, I think I was on day 19 without a shave.  I had no issues getting a very acceptable 1 pass shave (my norm) and absolutely 0 issues with the razor rinsing clean from the hair and shaving soap.  I wasn't expecting any issues with how much gap there is between the blade and the safety bar.

razor finish is their machined version, which is my preferred finish for all razors.  I didn't notice too many machine marks.  the handle might be a little long for some people but being that it is so damn light, I don't think it'll bother as many people as it might if it were made using stainless.

thanks to Aji for allowing us to try this out!

here's some photos.  I'm definitely not a pro with my camera, that's for sure!

Razor: H&S Ti 1.30 Aggressive/102mm Handle
Blade: Wizamet
Brush: Trotter "Scoville"/Synbad
Soap: Beehive Cream Soap Lime Margarita
AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
AS 2: Avon Lime
Fragrance:
Consecutive Daily Shaves - # 1302

1st shave with the Ti 1.30 Aggressive. When you look at this thing and see the gap you know they mean business. When you put the razor to your face you feel the blade and know it deserves respect. That said, as you find the angle and sweet spot and start your stroke it is a smooth operator. It's not a mindless carefree shave but pay attention and you will be rewarded. There is no denying the soft face feel of titanium and this razor delivered with a nick and cut free close 3 pass shave with the fresh Wizamet blade installed. Will hold further comments until I have more shaves with it. Only negative I have is off the bat the handle isn't comfortable for me. I like the knurling section at the top of the handle. The center of balance seems to be at the extreme bottom or just past that so I end up holding it below that. I managed just fine and I'm not one to play the handle game usually but I think I may try the Timeless Ti Crown handle with it tomorrow. Bottom line is you can't argue with the results it produced. Have a great day everyone !
