^^^Yeah, as Shavemd Mark said above. having tried all those configs as well, I am in total agreement with how he evaluates blade feel & efficiency across those models.

Still really loving the H&SCo Z074-ti as a smooth daily shaver. I know...even in machined finish, it is not at all friendly to the vast majority of wallets. But I shave literally 6 days a week the vast majority of weeks, so any razor I opt for as a daily driver pays itself off in due course.

Those wanting blade feel or ultra, 12+ hour BBS results need not apply.

I have tried a multitude of blades, but have wound up finding that my old standards (Wizamet/Polsilver and GSB) work the best for my skin.

Could somebody tell me how the Z074 compares to a Wolfman WR2 1.05 please ?

The WR2 1.05 is firmly more efficient IMO. The Ti will have a fair bit less blade feel, but the 1.05 isn't an aggressive razor by any means. The WR2 is also much heavier with a bigger head, the Ti is more nimble.

Thank you Mtt02263 for the quick answer !

Have you tried the WR2 0.95 : Would they be more similar ?

If you had to choose between the two ?

I have a timeless TI 0.68 and a WR2 SS 1.05.
I’m actively looking for a wr2 Ti 0.95, but without luck so far, I’m looking for options.

Would you advise any other high end mild razor, preferably in titanium ?

Thank you !

A.

When a H&S Z074 came up on BST recently, I read this thread in its entirety prior to purchase.  I must say that the comments were spot-on accurate.

After seven straight shaves with a Gillette Silver Blue blade, I could not be happier.  So, thanks to all who participated in this thread, particularly Lesser  cornbread  JoeLr and Shavemd .  It was very helpful.

It looks like Haircut and Shave ZO74 TI is available in very very limited quantities 10-20.  A beveled top cap is on it.

Living on the edge
And after a long time, first H&S model I've seen that has got a decent looking handle on it.

Yeah I guess handles are a personal preference I liked the short one.
What do you think about the new top cap?  I'm not the biggest fan of the top cap but the shave is more important.
