They are nice and I appreciate them more with each use.

How would you compare Mallard soaps to Kairos or Kairos SE??

To me currently having K SE and Mallard they are in the same ballpark.
I don't think I've got a Kairos.
Kairos SE might have a little different post shave feel, perhaps a little more post shave.
Something about the Mallard post shave just feels silky like, very luxurious.
Maybe other have some good comparison ideas.

KSE very high tech light lather that can be tricky to lather and light on cushion but incredibly slick. Outstanding for straights. Many consider it Mo's best base.

Mallard is old school luxuriously thick, cushioned and slick lather now updated to be quite sheer in rinse with some of the best post shave ever. Also brainless to lather in any water using any brush. This neck and neck with ETHOS best.

Although I strongly lean to Mallard, many prefer KSE. They both outstanding options depending on the type of lather preferred

Kairos, Kairos SE and Mallard are all exceptional soap formulations. You cannot go wrong with either of them. I consider Kairos SE and Mallard to be a slight improvement over Kairos. Kairos SE 2023 is even better than Kairos SE 2022 and is my favorite soap of all time. That soap is so good that I can even shave ATG on my 3rd pass without relathering. I have not been able to do that with any other soap I have tried. There are quite a few soaps soaps that will allow me to do my 4th clean-up pass without relathering, but accomplishing the 3rd ATG pass without relathering and without irritation is another matter entirely.

Mohammad has promised that future releases of Mallard will be every bit as good as Kairos SE 2023. I am eagerly awaiting the release of those soaps in a few weeks so I can compare performance, especially face feel, residual slickness, and post shave longevity. Those attributes are where Kairos SE 2023 really shines. Through experience, when Mo makes a claim, I have learned that it does not pay to bet against him. Every time I think he has produced a soap that is so good that it cannot possibly be any better, he has proved me wrong.

Thank you for the kind words RayClem

The upcoming TRC soaps are incredibly impressive in terms of both scent and performance. I am passionate about pushing the boundaries of what is possible, and I will continue to do so.

I will, of course!  I have been neglecting my work on GD/Aion products lately, spending too much time on music theory and synthesis Smile
