Nai is easily the star of the bases from my perspective

I shaved with Otium a couple of days ago.     Its really nice, the Nai formula - the scent is nice.  I didn't know it had mint in it and I didn't really notice any mintiness.  I've got to the point where I only loosely consider the scent notes because I almost never get from it what's written down.  Its maybe my nose or I'm an alien with different olfactory sensors I don't know.  Except leather - if leather is mentioned in the scent notes its a Keep Out sign for me.

There are several ingredients in the scent that allude to mint, some people notice them, some don't. They come across as somewhat herbal for some.

Now that you mention leather, the scent does have a leathery note from Osmanthus

Hi Mo, I don't get the leather either    It doesn't matter because it smells nice to me.  I've experienced scents that I love that others hate, that I hate that others love and the strangest of all are the scents that I can't even smell that overpower others (my wife). I can't explain it but I like what I like.  I do wonder why I can't smell some things at all that others can though.

You got it all save Asinus and Etereo.  Report back how the Otium mint smells - it scared me although suspect wrongly.

Yeah I most certainly do! I get mint, light creaminess (or leather). To me it seems like a minty, creamy, full fat ice cream or gelato. Soooooo good! It’s just the right amount of mint too. Doesn’t smell like toothpaste or bubble gum. Just light and sofisticated.

I bought 2 tubs of this and just finished the first tub or almost. Scooped what was left out and combined it with the back up tub for a nice super full tub as well as bought a tub of the newer version of Angel. Love the original and the newer version.
