I purchased the Valencia today. (Plus all the Mallards).

+1 on the vegan base.  I got some Valencia today. I expect the duck fat soaps are excellent too, but I was glad enough to get the Valencia.

I see that West Coast has NYChypre available again and on sale. It was sold out earlier.

I received a tub of NYCypre in today’s mail from West Coast. I will try it in the morning. My initial sniff of the soap off the puck reminds me of Chypre Vert.

I ordered one of each of the scented. Wink

Thanks for the share. I took a look when you posted earlier.

I shaved early this morning, ate breakfast, walked the dogs, cleaned up, and went to church.  When I got back home and stepped into the bathroom, it took a few seconds to realize that the lovely citrusy smell was the lingering bouquet of Barbershop.   Happy2  Happy2

I just got around to using Barbershop for the first time Sunday morning and I have to add a big +1 to Mike's earlier observation on the fantastic scent left in the bathroom.

I also could not tell whether I was using a vegan or tallow soap. For those that are hesitant to use vegan soaps, don't be. This Janus vegan base is incredible.

Mo told me a couple of weeks ago that these were all done and curing on racks. Personally I'm waiting on PAX, Angel, and two of the "lighter" tallow scents.

I picked up a tub of Tao and NYChypre from WCS recently and used the NYC this morning. It was delightful. I think that what Mohammad is doing is the most exciting thing in wet shaving right now, at least in the software space. I haven't been active in hardware for a while so can't comment. I feel honoured to be a beneficiary of Mo's art and I hope he keeps on doing his thing for as long as he wants to.

Oh, and I also stopped in at Italian Barber so I'm flush with Grooming Dept. product - I'm really looking forward to trying the pre / post serums.
