Incense and Rose is an outstanding scent, probably my favorite Grooming Dept scent.  This was a restock of this one.  It's one of my absolute favorites scents in the entire shaving soap universe, so I grabbed two of them.

Most of the scents are quite good, complex and bold, but extremely pleasant.  Mo's scent creating ability seems to improve with every launch.

There will be some available at West Coast Shaving later in the week, you should definitely pick up a tub of the Incense & Rose.

Thank You for the reply. Incense and Rose will definitely be one I’m on the lookout for. Any Soap that is someone’s favorite in the entire shaving soap universe should at least be experienced!

Hunter - incense and rose is phenomenal. One of the best examples of shaving soap scentcrafting you could find.

I missed out on the sale. Sad Everything was sold out by the time I was able to log in.
Gutted.

Yeah, from a scent perspective we all smell things differently and we all like different scents so no guarantee that you'll like it just because I do. That being I'm told this is one of the more popular scents with people ordering multiple tubs at a time. So overall a lot of people apparently really like this one.

I too had a problem with items in my cart being kicked out as being purchased even though they were not purchased as of the time I put them in my cart. I would suggest modifying the system so that if there is an item placed in the cart, there should be a limited amount of time to complete the purchase, say five minutes.

Hi Ken I'm sorry you were not able to purchase what you wanted. Unfortunately, I have no control over how the cart works. The entire site is built by a large ecommerce company which is also used by most artisans. I only can change the site cosmetically and manage my products.

Y'all making me regret not getting Incense and Rose. Even though I am not a fan of incense type scents, i will try to pick one up from WCS.

He’s going to restock many of them on his site next week. In addition, many will be available at retailer West Coast Shaving in a week or so.

A lot of vendors use websites just like this that will remove products at checkout if they are sold out by that time. It's almost the norm for this to happen with the hard to get items. You don't see it often with less popular products as they aren't selling out of several hundred products in three minutes. So, many other websites do function this exact same way, you just don't notice as items are usually in stock.

For example, my wife goes shopping the day after Thanksgiving every year (don't ask me why as I think it's insane). She fights to get in the stores the moment they open and moves quickly in order to get what she wants. When she walks in they don't lock the store down for her for five minutes so that she can get everything she wants while she shops at her leisure. She would certainly like that, but that's not how it works. These websites are created to simulate what you'd encounter in real life.

In locking the items for a set time this would cause other issues. For example, I go in before you and lock up a ton of stuff by putting 500 or each into my cart. That would allow me to lock up possibly the entire inventory or a particular soap causing a different kind of frustration to the end users. This could be done by competing vendors or people with malicious intent as well.

Basically what it comes down to with all of the hard to get items is research ahead of time so that you can be fast, get your items and get out quickly.
