Surprisingly, Before the Fire and After the Fire were the first to be sold out, I was expecting Island in the Sun to be the most sought after product within the whole line. I guess everybody has their own preferences and priorities when it comes to GD soaps. Anyways, each product is amazing and no option is worse than the other. YMMV after all...

I think Before the Fire has the safest scent description. And after the fire had some additional twist. Island in the Sun sounds like a scent for warmer weather.

But I think those who got Chypre Conifere will be extremely pleased - that is the best GD scent I have tried.

I picked up 1 each of the Unscented minus the Tacit. I already have that one. Looking forward to trying the vegan version.

I thought it would be the first option because of the new Janus base, not scent wise, but for those who choose to buy primarily for the olfactory experience, I guess Before the Fire was safer indeed. I just wanted to test the tallow + duck fat base.
Completely agree with you regarding Chypre Conifere's scent, very nice indeed and is suitable all year round!

I would love to hear people’s thoughts on the “Sandalwood, Fig, and Musk”, as well as the “Incense and Rose”. These were both Soaps whose scent descriptions really intrigued me.

Incense and Rose is an outstanding scent, probably my favorite Grooming Dept scent. This was a restock of this one. It's one of my absolute favorites scents in the entire shaving soap universe, so I grabbed two of them.

Most of the scents are quite good, complex and bold, but extremely pleasant. Mo's scent creating ability seems to improve with every launch.

There will be some available at West Coast Shaving later in the week, you should definitely pick up a tub of the Incense & Rose.

First time poster here. I had Mallard Gelato, Island in the Sun and an Unscented in my cart. Went to create an account and they were all sold out before I could buy any. Still waiting to try a GD soap since I have heard they are great. Obviously a lot of demand. Anyone know when they will go on sale at WCS?

WCS will have the soaps in a week according to GD site.
