I thought of something, I can't believe nobody brought it up, and I didn't think of it before.

I got savaged by some people for upgrading the vegan base once, and on some site out there, one of it's moderators and a guy who sells soaps attacked me and called it shady, etc... How come nobody attacked or freaked out about Saponificio Varesino, they're doing similar thing: within a year released Beta 4.0, Beta 4.1, Beta 4.2 and Beta 4.3.

Yeah, I'm going to continue experimenting. Smile I'm grateful for the amazing support on DFS, and I'm excited to make many more interesting bases Smile

That particular site, moderators, and now learned the business associated to it, are the ones that are shady. If said site is the one I am thinking of, one of the moderators basically said I was lying about my opinion of a product that they either liked or sold. They also shit on a popular vendor a few years ago, they kicked them out. That's why I am here now. P.S. i'm sure there are fans of SV here, but to me it wasn't all that.

gregcss, it isn't the site you are thinking.

One more thing Smile

For people who are really really into music or from UK/Europe. One of my idols is John Peel. He was a radio DJ/host on BBC One. He had an extremely diverse taste in music, to the point some people couldn't listen to his shows. He would play metal, followed by some techno, or some country or folk, or drum & bass or reggae, etc... I really like variety, a lot Smile

Release one or a few at a time, spaced out.  This way there's no cramming to make it all, or ship it.

Thanks for your suggestions and advice!

I'm moving away from preset release dates. Releases will be based based on "Notify Me When Available" I'll provide more details next week.

Thank you so much! And it'll continue when I get to the aftershaves and balms. The olive oil base is coming along, I'm working on a special edition for a group (but will be available to all) Lamb Tallow + Duck Fat + Donkey Milk, the scent is my ideas of a Southern Barbershop: Peach Gardenia, Oakmoss and few other things Smile

Wow!! That will be amazing!!

I’m eager to compare Tacit (which I have been using religiously) to Pekin

Mo, stay on your course!! You are an amazing artisan and a few haters are good to have every now and then because you learn how many people you have impressed with your craft by reading the posts from those that will always come to your defense! You are really doing some revolutionary stuff with shaving soaps and as I keep telling you, you’re KILLING my shaving industry slush fund but it is well worth it!! Thanks for that 20% off. It came in handy with the 5 soaps I ordered today. I love the idea of notifications by email when new soaps are ready. I was driving right before the release today and literally pulled in to a random parking lot at 1:58pm eastern so that I could get what I wanted at 2pm. Yeah, I’m a GD addict!! I’m in negotiations with my Wife to get another drawer in our bathroom for more soap space and I have already cut things down to 3 soap artisans. GD has become the largest collection with 2.5 rows now. Crazy!!

It used to be easy for me to try a new soap and determine not only if I liked it but determine what ingredient I liked or didn’t like about it. With GD soaps there are so many different components and oils etc that all I know is that my face loves it but I have no idea anymore what the individual parts of the soaps are contributing to the lather quality. Kind of a good and bad problem lol ...it even makes it difficult to compare one GD base to another since they all have so many different oils etc in them. Definitely a good but unique experience. Most of all though GD has not neglected the Unscented market and dare I say cater to the unscented market better than anyone else. For that I’ll always be grateful.
