A doubling of the scent strength of Elan is much needed. The scent strength of the first batch of Elan was underwhelming, and now a few days later, practically nonexistent. It's too bad because the post shave on this soap is superb.

My apologies for the confusion on the soaps availability and timing. This is all new to me Smile
Mohammad, I understand your decision and appreciate you being open about it. I just wanted to say that sometimes subtle scents have their place, too. (Speaking for myself, of course — there are obviously many who would not agree.)

Perhaps not every soap in an artisan’s line-up has to be a 9 or 10 on a scent scale. That being said, I am curious to soon find out what Kölnisch smells like. Smile

I agree that performance is more important than scent. I use Sudsy Soapery, for example, which is a great soap with a weak scent. For me, why not have both? For others, scent is not important, and what's wrong with that?

I agree with Matsilainen and you about scent strength. I worked on the soap base without using many fragrance components due to limited funds. But now I'm acquiring more essential oils and fragrance components. I would like to be able to offer strong scents and some that are moderately strong.

Teasing! This is a new vegan formula with even denser lather and better post shave feel. And better fragrance retention!

The 3 new soaps arrived. I did a test lather of Kölnisch, and I was very impressed by the scent. It is lime-forward, and the other components compliment it well.

Thanks for asking. Probably in 2-3 weeks.

I'm so happy you like them. Thank you so much for your business! I look forward your thoughts on the shave. Please feel to experiment, the soap loves water.

I'm a huge fan Kölnisch along Basique (will show up at a deep discount on Saturday) are a milestone for me in terms of scent composition. I have reworked the Patchouli without Ylang Ylang, and it'll be coming back in 4 weeks, many people have been asking for it.
