After the first shave (patchouli) I realized that the lather that I managed to get from it was THE densest and slickest even comparing to my most favorite soaps including T+S, Nuavia, MDC, B&M and some others. But this soap is THIRSTY!

Nice, I do love what you're finding out! I do believe it is far denser than those awesome soaps you mentioned. I had tested all of them while working on the formula. But I think the soap still delivers fantastic slickness and phenomenal post-shave feel without developing mega dense lather. But a dense lather delivers superb results.

I agree with Alex.  Some test lathers and two shaves in with the Lavender & Elan. Beautiful scents. Great Parkway jars. The consistency of the soap is perfect. Not too soft or hard. Loads easily.

Mohammad's soap reminds me of the late Charles Roberts passion for water. His Method Shaving was all about getting as much water onto the skin/cutting service as possible. Regardless of what one thought of his system I've never met anyone with clearer/healthier skin than Roberts when I visited his shop in Austin. These soaps can incorporate tons of water resulting in a comfortable, healthier shave. It's remarkable how much water they take. It shows in the remarkable post shave. Mohammad, as observed over time on his Instagram account, has created a wonderful soap.

Preliminary use yes, but, I can place this soap base with L&L, Sudsy Soapery & most likely  the new Tallow & Steel coming out on June 7 as the finest available today.

Your CRSW Select, Eufros Premium, Midnight & Two, Mike's, Mystic and a few others are in the 2nd category imo.

Thank you so much! I greatly appreciate the compliments. You have no idea how much they mean they mean to me! I labored a great deal over making the formula. This formula is really complicated, but has been worth every minute I spend on it.

One of the guiding points and goals I wanted to achieve is a soap that would work with principles and ideas from science. Here are some resources that influenced the design of the formula. But extreme slickness was paramount too. Balancing the post shave with slickness was the fun part Smile

Coming soon! Shares many traits with the vegan base, just as good. This is a stunning scent. I'm building my fragrance chops Smile Much stronger than my previous offering!

So I feel that it's worth mentioning how awesome it is that YOU MADE A SHAVE SOAP WITH NO STEARIC ACID! That is crazy awesome! Very cool to see, so I got the Lavender scent to try out. The scent from the jar was on the mild side, but it ramped up during use. Performance is excellent, but it does require a lot of water to hit its stride. Probably about as good a soap as you can get in terms of performance. I plan on using it for a week or so straight to see if the Soy Wax plays nice with my skin.

Thank you, Mohammad!

Also - super interested in where Aether is going!

Thank you for your business sir! I'm so happy you like the soap. These were my first elaborate scents, believe me this is not straight forward lavender. Indeed, the scent projection increases once one starts lathering the soap. I plan on making far more interesting fragrances than anything out there, still working on so many fragrance formulae.

I believe soy wax should be fine on your skin. The soap ingredients are well balanced. I think you and your skin will be extremely happy in week, in fact, there are 4 gentlemen (including me) who have been using the soaps for over a period of 3 weeks and are very happy with results. I eagerly look forward your updated report. Soy wax is about 97% Stearic Acid, 3% Palmitic Acid. For your information this from the documentation I have from the manufacturer.

  • 100% vegetable, made with Pure Soybean oil.
  • manufactured meeting FDA standards.
  • Kosher Certified.
  • NOT tested on animals.
  • NO animal products.
  • NO palm wax.
  • NO petroleum, paraffin or beeswax products.
  • NO pesticides and NO herbicides

You said: "Probably about as good a soap as you can get in terms of performance" Many are discovering on this forum and elsewhere the same thing, I have in fact moved the bar much higher than anyone thought possible. I'm really proud of this soap. It gives me great pleasure that many people are enjoying the fruit of my hard work on the base.

I'm not done yet, I do have other vegan formulas that are even much better! But are too expensive to release at this time. In the meantime I hope you get to try the tallow base. It's similar but different Smile I'm also working on very unique splash and balm.

I have been following and checking your Instagram for sometimes for the progress of your soap. Congratulations that you have finally launch the soap!

Sadly I'm on a long hiatus from buying soap, if not i would have immediately take the plunge.

Definitely in my to try soap list right now!
