Soooooo, anyone compare the new CRSW Glide to any Grooming Dept soaps yet? I used one yesterday and they are really good but not as good as GD. Just my opinion. I used the same routine that I use with GD soaps and the shave and post shave feel is really good but GD still holds the crown in my humble opinion.

Thank you for sharing your opinion. Being outside the US makes these kinds of aquisitions more difficult. So it's nice to figure out where I can eliminate the need to get involved where I don't have to.

Just like me, you understand Grooming Dept soaps.

Knowing you have this new one from CRSW is helpful. Saves me needing to purchase it to figure out if it would do what I want. And there's little reason to anyway with the quality we have in Grooming Dept.

I'm sure it is high quality. But I have not found anything that comes remotely close to Grooming Dept. Which is why I am such an advocate.

Hi Hobbyist I hope you get some of your own soon Smile Thank you for the compliments.

I'm forever grateful to DFS for the amazing support I've been afforded. I hope to continue evolving my products and creating new ones which hopefully will be enjoyed everywhere.

Voyage is really underrated. One of my favourite soap scents of any brand. That stated love grooming dept for cushion, glide and especially post shave qualities. But it is a bonus when it has a great nose as well

I agree, it's a sleeper Smile This recent batch was also a lot stronger. The patchouli I used in it is higher quality than I have been able to source before, it really helped in making the Elemi stand out.

It’s really interesting reading the CRSW Glide threads and how they are just raving about this new Glide formula. Hate to throw some shade but I don’t think any of them have tried GD soaps yet and they REALLY need to.

I was mightily impressed with my first experience with the first (vegetal) iteration of the GroomingDept soap and it immediately became one of my most favorite soaps. With his new soap bases coming out very regularly and his fantastic customer service Mohammad made it very clear that he is an exceptionally talented and committed artist and craftsman.

I would also like to say that Larry of the CRSW is an excellent soap maker as well and his customer service is exemplary. I tried the three scents of the Glide version and can confidently say that his latest formula absolutely deserves those accolades that george1906 refers. I would say that if it were not for the people like Larry and Mohammad, our wet shaving community would be much less exciting.

As a matter of fact the GroomingDept and CRSW soaps hold an absolute first place among more than 200 soaps and creams according to my experience and the number of each of their soaps that I have collected so far.

My respect goes to both Mohammad and Larry.
