In the archive section of the Merchants. My guess is Mo decided not to renew his merchant status? There are a few merchants there I didn't realize left (if that's what it means).

yes, if a merchant doesn't pay their fees, I'll eventually archive their forum section rather than just deleting it entirely. we charge merchants $25/yr, that's more than fair.

I was working to automate the entire process so it'd be much quicker but I was never able to fully work out the bugs with the developer I was working with.

just to add....if/when Mo pays the merchant fee again, I'll simply move his forum section back.

Grooming Dept is undergoing a transition. Mohammad is planning to rebrand his business as AION Skin Care. He will soon start selling products under that new name. However, there will still be some releases under the Grooming Dept brand until the transition is completed. Stay tuned for more news.

Cool! I wonder if he's holding off until the name-change, just to do it all at once. Would make sense... New name, new forum name... Keep it simple?

Wow andrewjs18 ! That's beyond reasonable, that's dirt-cheap. That is absolutely wonderful, as new businesses don't have to take a huge risk to advertise, and let's face it, we're the better part of the Shaving Community.

Regarding the name change, I like it. I'm very familiar with Grooming Dept, so it'll be a 'learning curve '. Still, 'Skincare' absolutely befits Mo's soaps, etc.. Like a select few others, GD soaps are super good for the skin, and definitely deserve a moniker beyond just 'soap'. I'll be interested in what products this brings about, too.

Whilst shan't comment on Mo's business planning strategy and timing, it would be wise to reup the $25 annual DFS fee to maintain momentum if not continuity.

Sincerely doubt Andrew would forbid retitling the subforum to the new company umbrella name.

Thanks, everyone for your support and concern!

DFS visibility and support are essential to my brands. I'll pay up the very reasonable fee Smile
