Exactly one year ago today I registered an account on DFS. At that time the world was several months into a pandemic, suffering isolation and shutdown, and there was only a hope that a vaccine would be available. Inspired by one of my sons, I had just taken up traditional shaving. After lurking about for a few weeks, I wanted to participate in the community.
The Henson razor was new a year ago, and impressed by
HensonShaving participation on this board, I just had to get
one two myself. How cool is it that Shane at
Blackland Razors is so engaging in this community. How beautiful
Stubble Daddy brushes are. Through a DFS passaround in July I discovered my razor soulmate, the Yates 921; DFS BST quickly supplied one for my very own. Jake
YatesPrecision answered an email the same day I sent it, and guided me through choosing additional components.
It has been a great year of diving deep into the art of traditional shaving, and I am glad to be part of the DFS community.
