Some of my favorites.
  • Exploring My Strange Bible - Broadcasts of Tim Mackie sermons.  He presents seminary-level Bible information in ways everyone can understand.  He's also a Hebrew and Greek scholar who is able to shed light on portions of the Bible that are frequently missed or misunderstood.
  • TED Radio Hour
  • Write Now Podcast - Sarah sheds light on various elements of being an author with a heavy dose of encouragement.
  • Art of Manliness - I actually prefer Brett's written articles, but he always has great guests and asks informed questions
  • The Portfolio Life - Jeff Goins podcast for writers and creators
  • The Minimalists
  • Akimbo - Seth Godin shares tons of wisdom on marketing, creating, and business
  • Bible Project Podcast - Tim and Jon record their brainstorming sessions for the videos.
  • The TED Interview
  • Your Move - Andy Stanley gives solid, practical advice on making better decisions.  Based on Biblical wisdom, but the advice is aimed at anyone who wants to live a better life.
  • To The Best of Our Knowledge - Lots of random, interesting topics.  Similar to a TED Radio hour.
  • TED Talks Daily
  • Ask Me Another - I just found this one.  Good comedy podcast.
  • Naval - Naval Ravikant is a brilliant man with practical, yet deep wisdom to offer.
  • A Bit of Optimism - Simon Sinek helps us re-think leadership and company culture.
  • The Tim Ferris Show

That’s a great list! Lots of stuff for the creatives among us. I will check some of those out.

As for the AoM, I agree with you that when you read Brett’s articles you get all him while the podcast generally provides the bulk of the air time to the guest authors.

Yes, it’s a podcast. It’s about various bits of...well...folklore and stuff, and where the information or ideas might have originated from. It’s like investigation into vampire myths, werewolves, various famous ghost stories, Christmas, voodoo, even lore based on real places like the Danvers Psych Hospital. Etc.

If you like Jordan Peterson, then you may enjoy Joe Rogan, who is quite diverse with his topics, in general.

I watch a lot his YouTube stuff, but haven't gotten into his podcasts yet.

I completely forgot about Joe because I usually watch his stuff on YouTube. I agree. He's a heck of a lot smarter than most people expect, he's really open-minded, he attracts some really diverse and interesting guests, and he asks really insightful questions. I hope the spotify move doesn't start to inhibit his topics or guests in any way.

From what I have seen, Rogan has not changed, at all. He still covers a broad spectrum of topics, is very articulate, for the majority of the time, and you can still watch his show on Youtube.
