Yup that’s why the gillette package says head made in Germany.

That makes sense - its not like Gillette is going build a new production facility just to make this razor.

Where did you see that? Source?

edwin jagger website..   heres a link to it.. so if i were to bet who make it i would assume its who is authorized by gillette to makes parts for gillette...

That’s an educated guess. Not a fact. You may be correct, but this is not proof that they are the maker of the head.

thats true.and i didnt quote it as fact but it does  seems like a  more logical thought. someone who is authorized to make their parts would probably be who would make their parts.  i personally dont know and it doesnt really matter because if people like it great and if not then they dont and since im neither a maker of their products or a seller of their products i have no vested interest in it either way... i hope that doesnt sound contrite because it isnt meant to be.....

I don’t have a vested interest in Gillette’s razor either. Mostly intrigued about what it says that they made the move.

You have completely misread, misinterpreted, and misstated what the EJ website says. They are not authorized to make parts for Gillette. They are authorized to make shaving products that are fitted with Gillette parts. Completely different. EJ makes razor handles that are meant to be paired with Gillette (cartridge) shaving systems, like Mach 3 and Fusion.  Nowhere does it say that EJ makes parts for Gillette. This is how bad information gets spread.

It is widely known that Muhle made the head for the Gillette Heritage-Inspired DE razor.

I strongly disagree that that was an educated guess. It was a failure of reading comprehension.

no i was able to comprehend everything that was said on their site i just look at things with a form of logic... If someone already makes stuff for me and im ok with what they make for me I would probably go to them if i want other stuff made for me...their is NO failure in that train of thought.
You’re still not getting it. Edwin Jagger doesn’t make stuff for Gillette. Nothing. That’s not what their website says. Your form of logic is fine so long as the beginning premise is true, but it’s not, because you have misread and misunderstood what they are saying on the website. And you’re apparently not understanding what I’m saying either. There is no failure in your train of thought, there is a failure in your reading comprehension......still.
