Hi guys, Well my Satin Tip for some strange reason the handle has split in half. So its time for a new brush.
I watched Busta a few weeks ago & he mentioned a synthetic knot called the Game Changer knot, has anyone used or know about this knot.

It's a great synthetic. It's similar fibers to a plisson-like synthetic. Not sure if it's the loft that mine is set at (mine are in custom and restoration handles), but it has really good back bone but not springy. I haven't used a satin tip. Mine is from AMACK, but I believe the same knot is used for Maggard's bronze colored handle.

My 24mm L&L Grooming brush has an Amack Game Changer in it. Great knot with some backbone but ultra soft tips. Like it quite a bit! Let me know if you have any specific questions and happy to answer.

How is it compared to Plisson type knots? Does it splay easily and does it have a noticeable glue bump?

Is it strictly synthetic?

I think I read someone somewhere saying it was mixed synthetic and badger.

Doesn't look like it to me. Who sells the knots?

I looked on Etsy and the description for the knot was kind of confusing. Maybe I was just looking at the wrong listing?

Do they hang onto water up by the handle like other synthetics and then dribble if you hang the brush between passes?
Shave yourself.

Hobbyist it does have a glue bump but not pronounced which contributes to it having more backbone than the typical Plissoft brushes I have used. Still easy to splay with soft face feel.

Very nice brushes Gents!

I was under the impression the Amack knots were synthetic..i would also like to know for sure.

Is the Amack game changer knot similar to the Muhle black fibre knot? I use to own the 21mm muhle brush.
