The third from the left on the big picture is very ornate. Is it Art Nouveau?

It looks like it to me but I thought it was just a vase. It certainly is beautiful, though.

So why all the love for talc? I'm curious. What's so special about it?

I find a little talc leaves my face feeling smooth after I've shaved. I don't use a lot but I like the way it makes my skin feel.

Himani Navratna Cool Talc is a favorite for me, especially when the weather is hot and humid.  The scent is hard to describe but I love it.  You can see, from the back of the package, the scents used.  It is very refreshing after my shave and would also be great as a body talc after a bath or shower.  It is a product of India.

Yeah, and he's a heck of a lot better looking than I, too. Tongue  (Using his product doesn't help me in that department. [Image: 656211b6.gif] )

Talcum powder: This stuff is horrible to breathe into your lungs.

It causes cancer. A person's lungs can't put up with it.

I'm surprised that this fact is not known here.

A substitute for talcum powder is much safer.
