1920 (or earlier) Rubberset. Size alone makes these little guys a challenge but I feel she turned out pretty nice. Hard part is finding a small enough knot to fit it but thankfully Razor Emporium had it in stock. Brush currently available in my for sale post.

Something about this little guy I fell in love with moment I saw it. I even liked the string on it and feel it gave it more character. Unsure of brand due to lettering on bottom of handle was shot with exception to 1 or 2 letters. I might change the type of twine I used but as for now I'm happy with it. Knot used is a TGN black badger knot. Scrubby little knot but builds a great lather and enough for a 3 pass shave.

Awesome restore Freddie! I agree, it does have a lot of character (and is probably a history rich brush, however old it is). Good to see it brought back to its Prime.

Thank you Mrdoug. I do often wonder the history on a lot of these brushes. Would definitely be cool to know who they belonged to and their travels.

I tried searching for some info on the brush. I didn't come up with anything other than an Etsy listing for another. The Etsy description doesn't say anything about its brand, year, or origin. I'd imagine the seller doesn't know any more thought, or they'd have likely listed it.

Yeah, some highly inflated prices in that shop.

Anchorset resto!

Finished up this beauty this morning. Had my doubts when I got it but some TLC cleaned her up and brought her back nicely. Not a color you come across often so very tempted to keep this one in the den. The struggles of restoration lol.

Got a number of handles in the works but got this one finished up today. The handle is a custom job that I'm loving the results of. Color is a nice chocolate/tobacco satin finish. This one is already spoken for but other brands and styles are in the works for anyone who might be on the hunt.
