He must be finally feeling the pressure from all the superlative reviews on the RR Lupo, especially with the DLC version being released in batches.

I haven't followed the Lupo, but competition is always good for the market.

Maybe he’ll outsource every single one of these order requests to a shop in Korea.

I suspect he won't.

True...although I suspect it transfers the pressure from being fast...to knowing when he is at the end of an order cycle
and free to fill your order. (which may be a challenge in its own right).

Unlike the 'waitwhile' app that clearly shows status as open or closed, there is no way of telling whether his quota has been met or not.

So everyone who submits the form will get a confirmation but the only way to be sure is if you also receive a Paypal Invoice.

It's great that he's exploring more options to be fair...but this approach seems to be in beta still.

What will happen to the folks who submit the form but don't get invoiced...will they be rolled over
to the next order cycle? In which case, is it like another waitlist method again?

Or will the submission lis be scrubbed clean and started afresh with every order cycle....like a raffle with 20-30 spots available?

Whatever the case, I hope this method allows those who have missed out on drops to succeed...drops are the most nerve wracking thing
I've ever experienced.

I was able to submit the form, but I don't want to get too excited until I see an invoice.
I do sympathize with his situation as a one man shop with a high demand. It's not easy to know the right method to handle releases. The recent Karve stainless release has some peeved on another forum. There is also the presence of scalpers to deal with. People are free to sell their property and spend their money as they please, but the notion of profiting off someone else's labor bothers me.

This reminds me of a variation of musical chairs.
There are 20 chairs but the form lets in 200 people.
Once the music stops, where do those 180 people go?
For sure, they will be pissed if they don't get in on the next production cycle.
This is just speculation as I don't know how he plans to handle this eventuality.

On the subject of scalpers, Im not saying they don't exist, but it's not like you see dozens
of wolfmans being flogged on eBay or elsewhere. Unless they are being trafficked on the dark web.
There are only 2 on ebay and I think they have been there for a loooong time.
