Every time I use one of my Robeson razors. I am impressed. They are such plain Jane versions. But deliver great shaves. Easy to hone. Take a very good edge. And usually can be had for not much money. 

Spent some time sanding on two cast iron skillets. Making them smooth like vintage ones. They will be gifts for a step daughter. 
Got my replacement scales for the Ace razor. They turned out nice. It will be up for tomorrow’s shave. 
My first set made of metal. A little heavier than regular scales. Don’t have to be gentle with them. That is a plus. 
Ravens beat the Steelers so that was nice.

The new scales worked out really nicely. They are a nice matte finish. And the extra weight of them over plastic or horn scales is negligible. 
Touched it up with a few other razors and have went back to finishing on my Arkansas Translucent hone. 
Here comes Monday and Christmas soon after. Man o Manaschewitz,  where did the year go?

Great shave. Didn’t post earlier cause I had to get ready to deploy at 0500 Christmas Eve. To do battle with Mother Nature. Back in my dump for my 27th snow season. Yay me.

Got so busy getting things ready for Christmas. And with being up so long. Just now felt like posting this.
