This surprise was waiting for me when I got home. Mucho thanks to MaineYooper Eric.
Thank you very much. I will now have to either make a handle or get a vintage one that needs the knot replaced. Which is an awesome problem to have.

I vote the make a handle route.......

Yea Dave I am leaning towards making one. But am thinking about a radical departure from the normal handle. Stay tuned.

Thursday’s Shave
Every time I use the Stirling soaps it just delivers.
A mostly pleasant affair. Let me explain.
On a very bizarre side note during the shave I became aware of something tickling my right nostril. Almost felt like a bug. Upon up close inspection in the mirror (using the burn the bugs on the sidewalk part of my bifocals). The culprit was there starring back at me. A long nose hair that somehow had escaped my  fastidious grooming routine. Which requires frequent trimming of ears and nostrils. On account of my distant relatives wandering into the woods. Getting lost. And taking up relations with Sasquatch in order to survive.
This thing un-coiled like a rattlesnake. And disturbed my “me time”.
So Just for you guys that think God doesn’t have a sense of humor. Yes he does. He plays these kind of childish jokes on me all the time.
It’s Friday so hopefully he is going to mess with someone else today.
Have a good one fellers.

Friday’s Shave
Old school kind of shave.
Razor from a hardware store.
Boar brush. Old Italian tallow soap. Drugstore aftershave.

That’s how I eat. Bare chested and chucking food around. It adds fun to mealtimes, though my coworkers aren’t too fond of it at lunchtime.

When I was a kid. We went to California and wound up at the San Diego  Zoo.
We had just got done looking at one of the monkey exhibits. Got 20 to 30 meters up the path. When we heard screams coming  from behind us. We turned around and looked back. It was like a scene out of a castle siege. You could see projectiles streaking in high arcs through the air. People came running past us. Covered in monkey poo. They had reached their limit of people starring at them. My folks and I got a good laugh out of that.
