I’m guessing you mean my area. This has been on the high side of average. For frequency of snow events. They have all been only a light to moderate amount of accumulation. Whenever we get over 6” then that changes to what they consider heading toward a “heavy” snow. It’s all perspective. Others parts of the country would and should laugh at some of the reactions you get here in Maryland. As a result of a few inches of snow. Forecasting for my area and county is further complicated. By the fact we are at the head of the Chesapeake Bay. The water temperature plays with the air temperature. The southern end of the county can get all rain. And the northern edge up at the Pennsylvania line. Can get several inches. Interstate 95 corridor is usually where a rain/sleet line happens.

I typically only watch cat videos, and some dogs, but I make an exception for the DR34 crew!

[Image: EJwijMu.jpg]Well guys, usually I am pretty jovial and upbeat. Right now however that is not really possible. As I will be sharing some bad news.
My buddy of 14 years, Bandit. Is no longer able to be by my side. Several weeks ago his eating habits changed drastically. My wife being a registered Vet Tech. Is very knowledgeable about animals. And her diagnoses of the cause was proven by a chest x-ray. Bandit had cancer in his lymph nodes. For the past few years we have nursing him along as he also had Kuching's Disease. The symptoms of that I would not have known to look for. But luckily she did.  So we caught that early and had been successfully treating it.  We now had a scenario with no good outcome. We tried every remedy for his lack of appetite to include a brand new product. But even my wife's skill and experience could not turn things around. Starting on Tuesday his respiration became elevated. Wednesday night neither Bandit or I got alot of sleep. He was beginning to struggle.  So I had to make the most difficult decision anyone can have to make. Even though we had a couple of weeks to prepare ourselves mentally. Nothing like this will ever be an easy thing.  From this point forward there will forever be a void in our hearts and home.

I've been there more than once and swore no more pets..............after 8 years we got Abby Jan 4th 2020. Just enjoy the companionship too much. I'm so sorry and know the pain that only someone that had a furry companion they bonded with could know. Shedding tears for you Brother and glad you had the time you did with Bandit giving him the best life he could have had.
